Artwork by SKParker.
This website is being built and under construction to reflect the artwork that was created in the past, as well as a "What's New?" component (which will be in the menu section above when complete).
Some artwork of mine has been sold to people who value the idea of purchasing artwork from virtually any artist. Thank you to those that have purchased my art to be displayed in their homes and businesses.
Here you will find some portraits in different mediums; I decided some years ago to create a little thing called, "Is That Supposed To Be Me?" You can see the latest titled "JTSquared" (above or to the left full screen). This was given to the portrait subject as "a contest winner" and hence, no monetary value was ever conveyed to anyone who would win the prize.
Most artists are locked into one or two types of a style, or subject matter. I tend to bend the rules by providing realism, surrealism, abstract, fantasy, and a little cartoon flavor to different pieces.
Some finalized drawings and paintings show joy and happiness - while others touch the side of sadness and loneliness. The love and hate by people I have known flow upon my body of work done in the past and now transcending into the present. Sadness flows at times, that drives way my thoughts that I have been forgotten by so many -even by some who said I was their friend.
But with all of these trials, tears, and moments of carefree conditional relationships, Love and tender moments of understanding make the uneven path of the future to look very promising.
So check back for more to come. - SKParker
This new web site will not display all past work - but will focus on my favorites done long ago and in the present. Be on the look out for more as the site is developed over the next couple of months ahead. You can see more by clicking on the links in the menu at the top of every page. The 404 error pages have some never revealed art from the past and some prelims of finished pieces!
I have also added a new medium to my Categories Menu called Photography.
So come back often!
